I write about my experience at Burger Joint from the parking lot after I recently visited. Burger Joint is usually phenomenal and they are known for stellar burgers and service. However this may not be the case anymore at the Heights location. I put in my to go which was supposed to be ready at in between 12:43-12:53 via the app. I received a notification from the burger joint app that my order was ready and I made my way up to go order pick up area. The to go person let me know my order was coming out. I sat down to wait and continued to wait until 1:04 when the bartender Crystal (who mind you I wasn’t sitting near her) asked me if I was waiting for an order. She has noticed that I had been there for a while. I told her what her coworker working the to go area said but that it had been a while ago. She immediately leaped into action and informed me that had no gluten free buns and that was why my order wasn’t ready yet. I told her a regular bun was fine but it was kinda weird that no one asked me about a substitution so I could receive my order. Crystal gave my substitution to the kitchen and I receive my order at approximately 1:17PM (24 mins after that 1:43-1:53 time frame that was supplied by the app with a notification sent to me confirming the order and that it was ready). Crystal also informed me that he manager would be over to speak with me about the problems with my order. The GM(who was MOD on Tuesday 08.18.2025) approached Crystal about the issue asked who the customer was and identified me as the customer with the issue. He looked at me and never at anytime approached me to discuss the issue with my order. This is a frankly unacceptable level of customer service on behalf of the GM to never address me or my issue what so ever. I then saw the GM walk off sight with a to go drink in his hand completely unconcerned with my experience. Crystal checked on me and asked me if the manger (the GM) spoke with me. I told her no and she gave me a 10 dollar GC for the next time I come in and apologized greatly.
It is people like Crystal that make your business good and successful. It is people like the GM who was MOD on 08.18.2025 who will drag you business down by not having the attention to detail that Crystal does. As a 20 + year hospitality worker who has worked in almost every position in the house I would covet and make sure Crystal grows with your company. She is an asset. Your GM need to run the to go area...
Read moreWalked 4.5 hours to get my self a shake at 2002 N Sheph… Dr. The “Blueberry Pie Milkshake”. I have to give it a 5 out of 10. You can’t beat a peanut butter milkshake, it’s my favorite and was my ‘first’ milkshake I tried ‘At The Burger Joint’ in Montrose. ——————- I genuinely love this place for the ample space. The quick service by Crystal and Alex, right on y’all 🤙🏼 They both took care of the bar area like there was no tomorrow in sight, one here the other there my shake was on my face before I knew it.
Now, the shake wasn’t bad. The thing with me is that I’m a picky m’f. If you take a lady, or your girl here cool. Buy her this shake, the ‘Blueberry Pie Milk Shake’ and don’t show her my thoughts on it, don’t show her this review. “Just tell her, “The Blueberry Pie Milk Shake is to “die-for”.” 👌🏽
Don’t say anything else. And buy her some onion rings with a side of the special sauce. Not all the new employees know what that “special sauce” is, and best of luck figuring it out cause I ain’t saying which is it either. ——— Look, shout to the manager too. He was on deck making sure this joint was running smooth. Just like the manager at the Montrose are, I stopped by to get my peanut butter shake there two weeks ago I just didn’t post it there cause I had already posted a review there when I took my family this one time a while back. Need to take my boi to one of these joints. I know his little rascal ã will love eating at one these ș’ś. ————- Now to promote: Shout out to my ‘sponsor’ who made this “”milkshake-run” walk” happen. I’m going to keep ‘em anonymous for now just know that’s one of my top people in the world to me.
Anyways: go check me out on my socials @ISRAELSCGC [YT, IG, everywhere] love y’all.

Read moreMe and my spouse dropped in to grab a burger and go. We waited between the bar and counter where food goes out. I step no more than 3 feet to ask the cashier a question and I look over to my spouse and notices a floor manager touching my spouses back and her pulling away from him stepping back, he then leans in her personal space to whisper if she would like a drink, she moves away from him again, he leans right back in and mumbled something while she is stepping further away from him. He quickly darts over to the counter area and I asked my spouse why the suppressed look, what happened? Meanwhile speaking to her he keeps looking at me, like waiting to see what comes from this. A little advice from my spouse, don’t touch people, some men thinks it’s okay to put your hands on a woman without asking, don’t lean into peoples personal space and whisper anything. You speak aloud where people can hear you, which includes other diners. The word drink relates to alcohol, specially having to stand near a bar. Next time your business offers free water, just like the cashier asks us after placing our order. You have 0 rights to just go around touching whomever you want, you back out of peoples personal space and speak professionally and aloud. As long as this floor manager works there we will choose not to give our business. Any woman who feels men just touch you when they want, lean into way too close for comfort; need to speak aloud and put these type of people in place. It’s not a professional behavior and any place of business is considered a professional setting, there are rules in business and life. Will not be visiting this location as long as any of their staff continues...
