This perineal market delivers. An eclectic mix of art , food, music and drink. Art by names you might know or want to to know at prices well below the galleries they show at or will one day will show at. Local breweries and wineries have their wares for purchase. Craft range from home soap to functional sculpture. Food Trucks provide food or a short walk down 19th ST to an array of restaurants. There is parking adjacent to market. Mitch Cohen has curated a market that delivers the total experience

We had a good time at the First Saturdays Art Market. There were lots of paintings, jewelry, and stickers. We got a cute sticker from @hannahbladh_art and got to visit one of our favorite artists @johnny_vanslyke_summers. It was easy to find parking. There are several places to eat nearby. If you have little ones, there are parks you can visit within a few minutes of driving. It was a great day trip and I highly recommend it to others.

The First Saturday Arts Market is different things to different people. To the public, it is a great place to view and purchase original art, meet up with friends, make new friends, listen to great local musicians, enjoy a variety of foods and have a nice family-friendly experience in Houston's historic Heights. To new artists, it's a great place to launch a career. Booth space is reasonably priced; there is heavy buyer traffic; media coverage is usually excellent and it's a place where artists can interact with each other and make contacts in the Houston art community. And then there are the sales. Almost every artist I know that has shown at the First Saturday Arts Market has done well. Consistently. In fact, many established artists routinely return to the market because of the high sales potential and supportive atmosphere. Artist or art enthusiast, market alumni or first-timer, no matter what your individual circumstance, the First Saturday Arts Market is a place to be...
