So FOUR days ago I Was in the area and decided to try a new place for pedicures because it seems very difficult to find a place in Houston that actually takes pride in doing your nails (not originally from here). I came across this place when I googled salons near me. Reviews seemed legit so I tried it out. I came in for a pedicure and they sat me immediately. They asked me which pedicure I wanted and I don’t remember the name I just know it had ā€œashā€ in it or something. So the guy Andy (I think that’s his name) starts removing the gel from my toes. In the MIDDLE of the pedicure he stops walks away and comes back with a paper breaking down my price for the pedicure which ended up being $110. I found this extremely uncomfortable because I, being the only woman of color in the salon, didn’t see any of the other technicians doing this with their clients. I chalked it up to me being in my head and told him I’m fine with the price. I live in the galleria area lol that’s what I’m used to paying, if not, more. Anyway, he starts doing the pedicure and he cut my big toe (I’ll take a picture of the scab) but again I disregarded it because MISTAKES HAPPEN. We’re human. Afterwards I asked to do my eyebrows. Don’t remember her name but she did an amazing job. I paid my tab, tipped 20%, and left thinkingā€¦ā€this might be my new go-to salonā€¦ā€ then I tossed and turned in my bed today and I felt like something was snagged on my toes I look down and the polish is GONE on not one but TWO of my toes, the ring and pinky toes. How does that even happen? This is so annoying because I have a trip coming up and I’m scared I’m gonna go to the beach and come out of the ocean with a half a foot of French painted toes. I could’ve went back but it’s like 20 minutes away so I ended up having to go to one of these salons on westheimer and paying them to fix it. Super disappointing

As someone who finds it hard to sit still for a manicure and pedicure, I’m honestly impressed with how much I enjoy this nail salon and keep coming back. Like, I am so impressed! Part of the reason I keep going back to the salon regularly is that both my gel polish and regular polish last for a long time. Also, the salon doesn’t do acrylic nails which at first I didn’t quite notice, but one of the nail technicians mentioned it, and every time there, it’s so nice not to be surrounded by the heavy acrylic odor. The salon also tends to be quiet and peaceful, with some exceptions during busy times. But even in some instances, the noise level has been low during high traffic hours. It’s rare that it’s loud, however. And most importantly, all of the nail techs that have done my mani and pedi have been great! But yeah. I can’t recommend this salon enough! They generally stay busy, but I have been able to call in advance to be seen almost immediately during a weekday in the morning. But as others have mentioned, do make an appointment or call ahead of time. Specially during the weekend.

GREAT!! My 1st time there made an appointment for 2pm on Sunday December 19th they were BUSY but I was taken right in & placed in a Pedicure Chair and The Technician was GREAT, FAST and EFFICIENT. Then went to the waxing room for waxing and then I went to the Nail stations for my manicure. GREAT Manicure & I'm used to having my hands & arms massaged to they also massage your NECK & SHOULDERS!! Prices were FANTASTIC I had everything done for under $100 & my previous Salon I've been going to for over 10yrs WOULDN'T EVEN WORK ME IN which did me a favor because I have been doing the same Things that I had done @Ritual Pedi Spa but I Pay $130 + The Tips. Needless to say I WILL DEFINITELY BE GOING BACK TO Ritual Pedi Spa!! GREAT SERVICES FRIENDLY STAFF & GREAT PRICES. Highly Recommend for ALL of your NEEDS. They do take Walk Ins might have to wait so I Suggest making an Appointment.

First visit experience: What a refreshing experience.ā˜€ļø Thank you, Ann, for providing gentle care and explaining the necessity of nail health. I called asking for an acrylic, powder refill. To my surprise, this spa doesn’t offer acrylic, only powder dip. I thought I’d give it a try since the person on the other line described this as a healthier option.

The spa is located tucked in a nice corner near a large storage facility so be sure to follow GPS instructions to the tee when instructed. The spa is small and quaintly situated which I love! It’s a calm and serene atmosphere by both staff and customers.

The quality of care attention given to my nails was a FIRST! Ann taught me how to look at my nails and convinced me to try an approach that is healthier with long term benefits. The Dip Method has no foul or protruding odor which is safer for the staff, customers and the environment, is a faster process and my nails look great!! I’m so glad to say ā€œthese are my nails.ā€ Is it a bit more expensive? Not to me, since other salons nickel and dime you dry! But Ann shared the cost fior any additional step and only advised me to get what’s needed. Total cost: $50 (was $45 but $5 was added to remove previous acrylic nails.).

I will...

Yes - this place is really worthy of a 5 star rating. I popped in here because I was in the area about 6 Months ago on a whim, based solely on how good the reviews are. And I haven’t visited another mail salon since. Every manicure (dip) and pedicure (hotness with regular nail polish) I have received since then has exceeded my expectations.

Cleanliness: COVID protocols are clear. Everyone is required to wear a mask & wash hands. I’ve watched them sanitize chairs as needed and it’s a thoughtful and thorough process.

Ambiance: the shop is quiet, the workers converse very little & I find that very relaxing. No chit chat while I’m clearing my own mind is appreciated. It’s a small, clean operation. Everyone is friendly while also being aloof. It’s easy to come and go feeling attended to and also, incognito.

Parking: easy in & out parking at the back of the shopping center.

Pricing: on par with every other nail salon I’ve been to in the last few years. $45 dip manicure including trimming cuticles, etc & $30+ for a spa pedicure with the full treatment, massage chair, etc.

Nails are always well trimmed, shaped & last for 2-3 weeks without a chip or knick. Love this place & cannot...
