American Legion Park — Attraction in Houston

Good park in a nice neighborhood right near i10 and shepherd. It hosts a lot of soccer, flag football and baseball games.

The field is in generally decent condition but can get super patchy depending on how the weather plays out during the year.

They have basketball courts and a small jungle gym for kids which is nice. There are some maintenance and upkeep issues which leave a lot to be desired but considering the park is free who can complain.

One of the better kept fields we've played on. There is a clean and open bathroom which is a huge plus. Very few other places have restrooms much less clean ones.
