Went with my daughter and her dad. We decided to pick up trash along the way..One of us was unfortunate enough to discover a dead puppy wrapped in a blue towel.. There were other suspicious bundles in the same area..not far from the parking lot. If you go there, don't mess with the blue towel..my daughter was pretty traumatied.. The park is pretty but there is a bit of a creepy desolate vibe.

Beautiful park with great bike trail running alongside Sims Bayou. Small community under bridge on Bellfort but they never bother anyone enjoying the park. Some parts of the trail remain unfinished, some parts need to be maintained better. Still alot more beautiful scenery to be included as part of the Bayou Greenways trail system.

A bit neglected and underappreciated. A lot of holes on the boardwalks so watch your step. Some graffiti. The trail is small and circles around so ideal if you need a short walk.

Nice Park .My suggestions are bring mosquitos repellent if you planning to walk the trails also bring and a hat .Hope people stop leaving trash all over the park specially in the Natural ...
