EZPAWN (6342 Telephone Road, Houston) — Local services in Houston

Bought a PS3 with a 6 month warranty here back in December 2018. System had crashed by February 2019. Went in for a refund and the white girl who works here has the customer service skills of a dead fish and looks at me like I'm speaking Chinese or like I was asking money/system exchange out of her pocket or something.

Carlos ain't no better either.

Was informed that they are out of PS3's so I went to the EZ Pawn on Broadway and they were happy to give be a replacement PS3. So far the system looks better/newer and works great. The one at this location sold me a old PS3 that sounded like a lawnmower and looked like something pre 9/11. I mean I know it's last gen consoles but this stuff here is older than Father Time. On another note when I got this system they sold me a broken controller knowingly, so I had to go to GameStop to pay for one. I mean these guys take things that they know don't work and sell it to you and say oh the controller is broken that ok. I said Don't worry I'll figure it out. It was Christmas time and I had to get something, if not I would have walked away. I've lived in 5th Ward before and have seen ghetto pawn shops, and this one makes the ones there look like Gucci stores.

Don't ever come here . They sell you old stuff that breaks within a couple months. I know this because they literally had a wall of about 10 PS3's, 7 Xbox 360's, and several PS4's and Xbox Ones. So about 25 systems all returned and broken. And yet they continue to try to sell people this old junk.

Go to the EZ Pawn on Broadway( 5 stars for them).

Much nicer customer service and just by looking at the Broadway location it's more modern/kept up...

Nick is amazing always answer the phone when I call makes it easy to find out when my stuff is due never have to be put on hold, like the other location either they don’t answer the phone Nick and his store is amazing, His employee Chris made us smile and had very excellent customer service and works very hard and is assistant manager miss Kimble amazing customer service always greeting with a smile and make you feel cared for. Never disappointed in this location. They do an amazing job being there and wonderful customer service skills. Thank you to this location so worth coming and being there for us. We use to come in here all the time and do deals with the manager. He was great. Gave good deals. Real positive fair and understanding. Now I never see him. And the offers are poor Not to mention I feel the lady likes telling us that what we hv is not a good product. We have a lawn mower battery operated with charger 700.00 item with new battery. We take used item fix them and sell them on line and to pawn shops too hot for garage sale. Please bring back the manager. I won't come back till...
