This store is the only store near me that has any organic food, so that's why I shop there. However, my main complaint with this store is that 99% of the time the women's bathroom is disgustingly dirty. I am talking about, piles of used toilet paper on the floor and in the trash cans, just nasty stuff everywhere, and no toilet paper in the stalls either. If I worked there I would probably clean the bathroom myself even if it wasn't actually my job just so I would have a clean place to use the bathroom. It's really gross. And, every time I go in the store it's like that. There has only been maybe one time that the bathroom was actually clean. And I have been there a lot of times. It is so disgusting that I reported this to Kroger online, and I have also complained to a manager in the store, and nothing ever changed. It's very clear that nobody cares whether that bathroom is clean or not. Also, the other night they had a plumbing problem where both toilets in the women's bathroom were broken, but they didn't bother to put an "out of order" sign on the outside of the bathroom or on the stalls. I went out to report it to the manager and she said she had a plumber coming, but why wouldn't they put an "out of order" sign so that people don't have to go in the bathroom and walk through puddles of nasty toilet water in the floor??? Just really inconsiderate of customers. I don't think their management really cares about the customers. Other stuff about this store: If you go there past 9 pm they force you to use the self-checkout aisle, and there can be very long lines for this at times. It's very inconvenient for the customers but I don't think Kroger cares about that. After 9 pm, they also make all the customers come in and go out through the one door at the self-checkout aisle, so there is this extremely congested area at the one entry/exit point from the store. Kroger just cares about its bottom line, not about the customers. If this wasn't my only nearby source for organic food I would probably shop somewhere else. Also, sometimes they have a situation where they have zero avocadoes in the store. Absolutely none. Or, sometimes they are completely sold out of the small (68-cent) avocadoes and all they have is the very expensive large avocadoes that cost like $1.50 or more each. And I get the feeling that they may be doing this on purpose to make...
Read moreHorrible location. I used to shop here for years until the customer service started to go down. Mainly in bakery. My family loves to get their birthday cakes from here so last month we ordered a cake and got confirmation and when we got there to pick it up they claimed to have no record of the cake, luckily one of the ladies was nice enough to make a cake in 10 mins while I waited - except the cake manager had an attitude and kept saying I don’t know what to tell you we didn’t get the order so we got lucky that the other lady stepped in with a solution. But I should have sworn off this store then but we placed an order for a birthday cake on yesterday for pick up on tomorrow (over 48 hour notice) and received an email today that the cake was cancelled. Should have known this wouldn’t be an easy process. I called and the lady said the manager who handles cakes won’t be back for 10 minutes - forget it. Not worth the headache. We placed an order online at another location, called and explained the situation to the lady there and she assured us that our cake will be ready on time tomorrow. Easy as pie. Officially never stepping foot in this telephone location ever again. Do better. We have all kinds of family events, baby showers etc coming up for the summer and would have been happy to use this store for our cakes and party platters but we rather drive across town to a different location where we know we won’t be disappointed. I guess it doesn’t matter to this store if they lose...
Read moreThis place looks like Seria! One of my HUGE pet peeves is when I enter the store of a huge, national company that own luxurious facilities across town, then subject low income customers to a clearly inferior site. There is NO excuse because the grocery story across the street is not like this!!
The floor is stained, cracked, chipped AND dirty. Products sprawled everywhere, tumbling off rusted shelving. Cramped aisles that are dimly lit. Raggedy/dirty shopping carts.
Minimal choice or variety - mostly the expensive national brands. And IF, by the way...we're going more expensive...can we get the Kroger "Simple Truth" label in here? Some low income customers would still like an organic option. At least the staff was friendly.
I came here out of convenience. I have a car. What about the nearby residents who don't have options? Here's one...shop across the street in a well maintained, organized, fully stocked, CLEAN store that has new...
