MOST NEGLECTED PARK IN HOUSTON HARRIS METROPOLITAN AREA AS FAR AS MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING. NEVR HAVE I SEEM A CITY PARK SWIMMING POOL CLOSED DOWN SO MANY YEARS IN A ROW. OH THATS RIGHT ITS IN A PREDOMINANTLY HISPANIC AREA. WERE IT A WHITE OR BLACK NEIGHBORHOOD,,WELL,YOU KNOW THE REST. It's a good open park. Plenty of activities from the local youth baseball team, to people walking on the streets for recreation and others running there. My only complaint is that oftentimes there is trash all over the place. I blame the people who frequent it and are too lazy to hold on their trash but some fault lies on whoever's in charge of the trashcans: they're often full/ripped apart and not many...

Great place to hang by self or with family and friends. Awesome baseball park areas; got nice big gazebos and outdoor barbecue grills for family occasions. Community swimming pool is nearby... long circular winding trail to run, jog and walk on... Park has all the "good materials" provided for you to have yourself...
