My daughter was severely overpronating in her new cowgirl boots from a local western store. Her doctor warned that this could lead to long-term issues with her back, knees, and hips if left unaddressed.. I called nearly 20 western stores across the state searching for true expertise, until I found this oneāwe drove 3.5 hours round trip to get here.
The team was incredible. They used advanced foot diagnosticsāthe kind youād only find in a store genuinely committed to precise fit -which revealed she was compensating for an old ankle injury. We were paired with a trained fitter who found a supportive boot and added insoles to correct her stance. Another fitter confirmed the fit, and as a team, they taught my daughter how to care for the boots to preserve their structure.
Boot prices were comparable to other stores without any service specialists⦠We frequent 3 stores, and itās usually up to my daughter and I to figure this out; the $70 added insoles were a bargain compared to the $1,500 custom ones Iād considered. I donāt understand complaints about pricingā prices are normal, and with this kind of service, I nearly teared up with relief and gratitude.. must be the mom in me.
Alana, our fitter, was a true rodeo cowgirl. My daughter thought she was the coolest, and I was so grateful to work with someone who brought both knowledge and lived experience to the table. Iām recommending this store to everyone in our 4H clubāmany of whom have pronation issues. Weāll never go...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDanny and his dedication to his craft...Wow... please read on!!!! I went to this store to buy boots and to my surprise got the ABSOLUTE BEST SERVICE IN MY LIFE. My wife and I went to Howell western wear as I was requesting cowboy boots as a gift. While at the store the power went out and that did not stop any of the stores staff from continuing on. They quickly got PayPal set up and were up as going again, albeit with phone flashlights. During this commotion Danny (and other staff) still took the time to help with boot selection, proper boot wearing found out boot removal is super important and what to look for in a quality boot. Ok so here is where I got very impressed... Danny took the time to teach a group, yes a group gathered with only the light from the windows, on how to properly wear a cowboy hat. I never knew that there was such an art to picking a hat and how to wear one. I know I don't work on a ranch and I've only ridden a horse twice in my life. So wearing a cowboy hat is something I just have never done. Danny taught us how wearing a properly fitted hat could make you look like "someone you don't want to mess with in a dark alley". Ok, all joking aside, employees like this are what make a business not only good but famous. Danny, and the entire store staff, thank you. I will be coming back to your store this Thursday as I really enjoyed being there. Thank you for the best service. Mike and Roz from White...
