This was a terrible experience! Part one was good - my husband talked to a person who seemed helpful and guided him with advice about our dryer but offered to have a technician come out; at first he passed on the offer, but after trying the suggestions called back and set something up for today. Our time frame was between 2 -4 and The technician came close to 3:30 to the house and literally was inside our house less than five minutes!
After walking back He says he's "hesitant to do anything" because he was leaving in two days, (he was retiring he was done doing this because he had done it so long) he also let us know that no one else in the company would be able to help us. I was baffled - WHY is he HERE then???
When I asked why they would send him if he was leaving he again took the opportunity to brag about his length of time doing this type of work and that they don't even work on Electrolux anymore ( AGAIN.. baffled as to WHY the suggestion was to have anyone ( especially him) come out
He told us that we could try to order two parts and it might work and briefly pointed to where they might be located ( you know, because we know all about fixing a dryer) He walked out of the room and named off the parts again as he was walking out of the door and told me to have a nice Halloween.

   Read moreI’m not sure what’s going on with this store right now, but whatever it is, a lack of communication is exacerbating it. We have always had good service from them in the past, and when our fridge quit working a week and a half ago we called right away. No one answered the phone, but the call was returned by the end of the day. Kurt explained his regular repairman was out recovering from surgery, but recommended someone he’d been getting good feedback on. That man came in a very timely manner and said he thought he knew what part it needed, but it might need to be ordered and he’d get back with my husband the next day to let him know. We haven’t heard from him since and that was a week ago yesterday. Left messages, no return call. Called Kurt and left a message to see if he knew if perhaps that repairman had gotten sick or been in an accident, but we still haven’t heard back from Kurt either. Store is never open as I think Kurt must be running the place himself. Just a phone call would have been helpful and if we need a new fridge I had planned on buying it from him.    Read moreWhen our washer quit working, they sent someone out right away. Their representative was incredibly polite, informative, and helpful. Unfortunately, our washer would cost too much too repair. The representative explained everything to me clearly, so it was easy to look things up online and see that his assessment was correct. He suggested a washer for us that was available at the store. When we arrived at the store, we were promptly greeted and welcomed. We were able to purchase the washer and have it delivered the next morning. The men who delivered the washer were prompt and so very helpful. We had to move some things to get the old washer out and the new one in, and they even helped with that. I can't think of one thing they could have done better in the whole process. I can't say enough about how well we were treated every step of the way. We love our new washer, and we'll be returning to D.R. Electric with any and all future...
