Read moreAbsolutely horrible experience. I came grocery shopping yesterday 8/11/25 around 8:30 PM. There was only one checker open and the lines were so long. I waited over 25 minutes to be checked out. What a horrible experience. I was late picking up my daughter from after church activities. Honestly, I am so disappointed in the lack of customer service and the fact there was only one register open really Stater Brothers You need to do better you guys always advertise Great customer service. This location is terrible horrible management very short staffed. I will never step foot here again. Shop here if you wanna wait 30+ minutes just to get checked out because they don't want to hire enough staff to check you out what a disgrace. I remember many years ago Stater Brothers having many registers open at this point l'd rather go to Walmart and use self check out so at least I could be out in 10 minutes or less. What a disappointment Stater brothers do better!!! And I know you guys don't honestly care but trust me l will be telling all of my family and friends to avoid shopping at Stater Brothers unless they have much time to waste very very disappointing. I will be shopping elsewhere. Maybe I should check on Amazon fresh instead! You guys wanna advertise great customer service and low prices but that's not what I experienced tonight. There was only one register open with long lines and the prices have gone up so what do you have to offer... What a great disappointment I am very disgusted at this experience. I know that you guys truly don't care all you care about is money but trust me if you keep up with this customer service, you will lose many customers such as myself and I will tell all of my friends and family about this experience. I hope you do better and listen to this feedback because if not, you will lose many customers. There are so many other competitors that offer better prices and better customer service with...
Read moreStater Brothers is a grocery market that, unlike other major chains like Vons, Ralphs, Sprouts, and Whole Foods, falls short in providing consistently courteous and attentive customer service. During my recent visit, the cashier, whose name tag identified her as Jesse, displayed a notably bored and disinterested demeanor. As I approached her open lane, she seemed preoccupied with filing her nails rather than greeting me or acknowledging my presence. The transaction proceeded without any friendly gestures or pleasantries - no "hello," no inquiry about my day, and no "thank you" upon handing me the receipt.
As someone who works as a cashier myself, I know the importance of basic customer service etiquette. Greeting shoppers warmly, making polite conversation, and expressing gratitude are fundamental aspects of the job that help create a positive shopping experience. Unfortunately, Jesse's behavior fell well short of these standards, leaving me with the impression that Stater Brothers does not prioritize or adequately train its staff in professional customer service skills.
With that said, for my broader grocery needs, I find myself preferring to drive the extra distance to shop at stores where I can count on a friendlier, more attentive staff. Stater Brothers appears to have a lower bar for customer service that, in my view, could benefit from greater emphasis on employee training and...
