First day I saw this store it looked closed. Couple days later, I came back just to find out the open sign wasn’t working and the store is connected to some storage in the back of it. The open sign was up, but not glowing at all so I decided to look at the office hours and it should be open so I walk in and get greeted with the worst first impression of my life. A guy behind the counter with a very big beard didn’t even look up when I walked in. I asked questions like “what does this store sell” he looked up from this phone and just said “nerd stuff”. From that, I had to ask about each individual game like magic or Pokémon and all I got was a quick yes or no and him going back to his phone. Asking about weekly events or collectibles was Met with very short responses and going back to his phone. The store is very cluttered and looks like it’s easy to get lost in or steal things but is a good collectible store if you know what you want when you walk in and buy it, then leave but if you wanna play games or do literally anything else, the staff could not care less. Walked around the store looking at things never got asked once if I needed help he just went around the office working with this 3-D printer and when more people walked in, he ignored them and walked even further in the back. Got to the point I had to ask someone who walked in about the store and where everything was and he gave me a short lowdown of it. And the owner would walk around keeping a hard eye on us, hoping we wouldn’t steal anything, but nothing about this atmosphere felt friendly or inviting. if you’re the kind of person that just wants to walk into a building grab a couple collectibles that you like and walk right out after paying for them this is the store for you. If you’re someone who wants to do anything other than that, ignore the store because they say they have game nights for magic or Pokémon with a small crowded space for it and staff are not even look slightly interested in helping you find stuff. I even believe they don’t know what the games they sell are except they are “nerd stuff”. Save your time and go anywhere else or order any of the stuff in the store online. It’s so rundown even the people who work here don’t wanna be here. The only reason you should come is to put a job application for the guy. I saw there to take his job and make this place better which should...
Read moreThough the space is a bit cramped at times, the sheer volume and assortment in the shop is well worth 5 stars on its own. I probably spent well over an hour inside and still didn't see everything. If you want to try out new boardgames with the family, dual your friends and family in Pokemon or even play MtG. Their games room is the perfect spot to have full day access for a super affordable rate to try before you buy. The staff was amazing, professional and attentive with the customers, never hesitated to physically help me look for a particular comic. This is a nerds haven and dare I say rivals my past love for Deep blue sea. You guys are amazing, I will absolutely be back...
Read moreI liked this little shop. I went in pretty late and only looked for comics, but it seems like there is quite the gaming atmosphere here. I can't speak on that but will just review their comic selection.
I was happy to see that they had a small selection of graded slabs, and they were very reasonably priced. Their selection of current modern comics was good, but there's not any selection if you're looking for golden, bronze, or silver age stuff.
Overall, the store was pretty cool and the staff...
