12th Street Bar — Restaurant in Huntsville

I went to 12th Street Bar about a month ago to see a friend's band play. I had never been there, but I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the stage when I walked in. However, my bad experience was because of the employees.

I wasn't drinking that night because I was commuting back home, so I had one beer. I ordered one beer, enjoyed my beer, and watched my friend's band. (They rocked)

When I went to close my tab, my check came out to $21.00, and because I had decided to start a tab, I was charged $21. I was charged because ANOTHER drunk chick named Hannah ordered her table a round of shots. They put their shots on my credit card...Based on my first name. Ontop of that, it took over A WEEK for the money to be refunded to me. While to some people $20 isn't an issue, I am a broke college student, and $20 is more than 2 hours of my time at work. I told the bartender that I had one beer, and I DID NOT order an entire round of shots for some punks. He was not happy that he had to call his manager over to void my check. He acted completely put off, and once it was refunded he did not apologize or even say anything to me as I paid for my single beer and left.

I am not coming...

This is the chillest and best place to quietly enjoy a drink or get rowdy. It's kinda like that one place toby Keith explains in "I love this bar" great drink specials and crafty cocktails when you want something better than wells. Great bar. Nice people. Hell you can even go in their cross dressed and no one beats an eye. That's hard to find this far south in a podunk town...

This is hands down the best bar in Huntsville Tx. Atmosphere is amazing and karaoke is the best in the Houston area. Friday and Saturday they have really good deals on drinks. Crowd is friendly to everyone. Josh and Zoie are amazing bartenders. They are quick and prompt with making drinks and will not deal with out of control patrons making...
