Optimist Park — Attraction in Huntsville

My son's tried to go here on several occations to use the indoor basketball courts and to say that the people "working" the front were irresponsible and ignorant, would be an understatement. There are "teenagers" that take over the courts and don't let "outsiders" play, they use atrocious language, and they do ludicrous things like... pulling down thier pants, being unnecessary rough, bully and use unacceptable language. All of which is completely ignored by the people in charge of keeping the place up to standards that would make others feel safe and comfortable using a public court. We had an appointment to get our taxes done on a Saturday but the process wasn't as easy as we hoped. They had young people (look like college students) completing the forms on lap tops. We thought it strange that once the forms were signed they didnt scan or make copies of them to forward to the IRS. Instead they gave us the signed copies for our records and stated they would E-file our taxes on Monday. Oh yeah, and don't forget to have a physical copy of everyone's social security cards or they wont E-file your taxes. My friend had her sons 1st birthday here and it was so cute. I just forgot my babies hat and the whole playground is in the sun but it's so big and nice and clean.
