Guidepost is an incredible school, and Jessica and Sammi go above and beyond to keep parents informed. They communicate clearly and promptly, explaining every decision—even down to how they handle weather-related closures. They are by far the most impressive directors I’ve encountered since my kids started school.

The teachers genuinely care about the kids and do a great job keeping us updated with daily stories and plenty of pictures. On recent snow days, they didn’t miss a beat, holding virtual science experiments and circle time while we were all stuck at home. They truly think of everything.

One night, my child left their shoes at school—shoes we needed for an upcoming vacation. Jessica saw my email at 7:30 PM, responded right away, and had them ready for pickup. That level of dedication is just one example of how they consistently go above and beyond.

The facility and playground are bright, clean, and well-maintained. Our kids love riding the elevator to class, and the covered patio means they still get outdoor time even on rainy days. The school also hosts fun events regularly, and the parent community is so welcoming.

My almost 3 year old son has been with Guidepost for 4 months now. This is my son’s first school experience so we were both very nervous at the start (to say the least). We love everything about the school from the admin to the guides to the structure of the school day. From the beginning, the staff made us feel very welcomed. They are excellent with communication. The biggest thing is I know my son is safe in their hands. The admin, Ms. Jessica and Ms. Sammi, greet us every morning/afternoon with a smile on their faces. They do an excellent job of keeping us informed on any changes that may arise. My son LOVES his guide, Ms. Kanchana. We are so grateful for her! It only took my son about a week to adjust to life in a classroom and I fully believe it’s because Ms Kanchana took the time to make him feel comfortable. We love Guidepost! Our 4 year old has been going for almost a year now and we have had a wonderful experience. Not only do we love the Montessori views and practices, but the staff is nothing short of exceptional. Every guide and staff member we have encountered have been knowledgeable and caring. Ms. Jessica and Ms. Sammi (the head and assistant head of the school) are some of the most wonderful people I’ve met. They truly care about each and every child at that school and they always keep a very open line of communication with the parents. My daughter has some special medical needs and they became knowledgeable about her condition and always stay compliant with her medication. I truly feel like they take great care of her when I’m not there. The school is kept clean, safe, and feels very open and warm. The events that they put on are always fun and diverse. We hope that they open their elementary program by the time our daughter starts kindergarten so we can stay a part of the Guidepost family!
