Just went in for my children’s Spirit night and they were so excited to try a new place, and the guys attitude just absolutely wrecked it. We walk in and he was already flustered with the arrival of more people, even though there were about 5 people total in there. And he just looks at us awkwardly as we’re standing in front of him, and says “are you here for the spirit night thing” and I said yes, and he rolled his eyes and sighed and said “okay” and just sat there again in silence until he muttered “what do you want, they’re doing this until 9 but I wish they would’ve only done it until 8”. So I said alright we will take our business elsewhere and he said well we’re doing it until close and we just decided to leave and go to rainbow cons, where we were warmly greeted and they went the extra mile after hearing how ass the service was here. You don’t want your tiny struggling small business to be busy until close? Weird move on the employees part. But thankfully we found our new go to ice cream store down the road. I got 4 flavors (strawberry, coconut, coffee, fudge brownie) and each one was amazing! My friend got 3 different flavors (Lemon crunch, coconut, cookie monster) which were also delicious! The lemon flavor was so surprising! Probably my favorite! The funny thing about the ice cream here is that it defies the law of diminishing marginal utility. Every single spoon of ice was just the same amount of satisfaction. You can have multiple scoops and still keep wanting more. I don’t think I can have any other ice cream after this!
Psycho Phil was super kind to let us order even after closing and let us sit and enjoy our ice cream while he closed...

In response to the business's reply: there are dairy free options at a grocery store made specifically with coconut milk. I've been eating them for a decade. They're creamy and have only improved over the years. If you cannot make good non dairy ice cream then don't have it as you're taking people's hard earned money for a product that isn't good. You could also market it as italian ice or not call it ice cream. Honestly, I should've known by the look of it it wasn't what I was used to or...
