A beautiful little pond on the University of Chicago campus, tucked between old academic buildings. The best parts, according to my son, are the turtles ducks, and bugs! Theres a bench for a little picnic, a small bridge to walk over, and a couple of little "islands" for the turtles to sun themselves on. The best thing the University has ever done for their students and faculty was the creation and upkeep of the duck pond. I go crazy when those little ducks walk up on the rings that are just below the surface of the water. This morning I saw a turtle AND a fish. Can't wait to see what else the Duck Pond has to...
