Bowl-Ero Lanes — Attraction in Idaho Falls

1 Star- terrible customer service

Me and a group of freinds went to bowl last night at 9:30uniformed of the fact that at night it’s first come first serve, even know we were told different. We waited for two hours for them to finally tell us that we might not even play. I understand that it was a weekend and it’s busy but they gave us the impression we would get a lane until 2 hours in to the wait. That’s not what bothered me, what bothered me was how they treated my brother when confronting them of why we weren’t able to play. A man about 6ft with black hair proceeded to berate my brother on how he told him and I quote “I TOLD YOU 3-4 TIMES THAT YOU MIGHT NOT PLAY TONIGHT!”. Whether or not he told him that it is not not his job to chew out customers regardless of if he’s right or wrong. I talk to other people waiting and they had a similar experience to the one we had. There was a younger teenager in camo that seemed new but reasonable it was the other man I previously described that had behavior that was unacceptable! I love this bowling alley! it's a little outdated but I think thats what makes it so fun! it's not like the new fancy style Allys with tons of music and technology! this place has the traditional screens and manual controls which is cool! the bowling balls could be updated though. it is a bit touch finding a ball that fits my fingers and isnt either too light or too heavy. the balls are not in good condition either. But if you're going to just have fun this place is not bad!

other features of this place: a bar (21+ only allowed) a little burger joint in the corner (I havent had their food) a plethora of arcade games and claw machines (some of the arcade machines are "play until you win" which is nice for the kids so they arent bummed out they lost their money) a party room and clean bathrooms

We were in here for are son's birthday party and right off the bat the older guy at the front desk was rude. We got the birthday package and it came with a pizza so we told them that we would like the pizza to eat during are game so go ahead and order it. After 45 minutes and asking about it four different we finally got it and it was cold like it had came out of the fridge cold. We took the pizza back up the front and the old guy was no were in sight just some young kid that looks at us and says that sucks at least I get free pizza and proceeds to eat it. Are game was shut off early so we figured enough was enough got up and left. But on are way out my wife demanded to know where the manager was the young kid said in the office but he is busy.
