Update: The owner and I were able to work something out and things were solved. They got back to me fast and efficiently solved the issue. Thank you!
I’ve been here 3 times and each time has been a less than stellar experience. The staff has always been rude and unfriendly to me and my group. I went to the bank heist about a year ago, and due to lack of experience, me and my group didn’t get out. That was 100% our fault and lack of knowledge. However, I went to the buried alive about 6 months ago and that was the first bad experience I had. My group and I were stuck on one password that stumped us for the rest of the time, and the clock ran out. When the game master came into the room after we failed, he asked us what password we were entering and we told him. He said it was right and “if we were entering the password right it should’ve worked” but it was a simple lock and it was more than likely the lock not working, not us. Well, I just left the bank heist room about an hour ago, and I am not pleased. We were given a phone number to call if we had any questions/needed any help. We rang the number MULTIPLE times and it would not go through. We tried it well over a dozen times over the course of 30 minutes and couldn’t get ahold of the guy WHO WAS SUPPOSED TO BE HELPING US ESCAPE. I yelled into the cameras waving my arms and asking for help and not once did we get any assistance. When we had around 3 minutes left, he FINALLY reached us and he was just as lost as we were in trying to help us. We ended up failing and asked for 10 extra minutes because we were completely ignored and he said no, and made us leave. I am not paying $140 for a group to be told we “failed” when we didn’t get the help we needed. Staff is rude, unhelpful and cold. The rooms are amazing and so creative but the...
Read moreThey were very nice and kind, BUT one of the puzzles had the wrong code programmed to the box by the employees. When Dylan came in to show us how to open it, she also could not get it open. We spent most of our time trying to figure out how to get our friend out, and it ended up being jammed basically. She said it was just a little bit off of what the right number was to open the box.
She also said that our friend could have just pushed on the door hard to open it, or to just push the panic button. But in the instructions, it says not to do that unless it’s an emergency or if you are a “wuss.” So obviously we didn’t want to do that.
That made me feel pretty jipped from a super cool experience. Loved everything, but I really wish it would have actually worked the right way so we could have played.
They didn’t offer a refund or a gift card to come back either, even though it was a malfunction on their part. I know mistakes happen, but we payed for an experience that wasn’t put together properly. I honestly probably would have ended up giving them five stars if it worked. — — !!!UPDATED!!! We went back and got to play another game, and it was awesome! Thank you for being so kind and letting us...
Read moreOur group has done multiple escape rooms in Las Vegas, Utah, and in the Idaho Falls area. This escape room was one of the best one that we have done.
Most typical escape rooms, you want to get out as fast as you can in order to have the best time. But the objective of this escape room is completely different and I think you get your money's worth out of it since you want to be in there as long as possible. The technology worked flawlessly, the puzzles were simple but also not too easy. There was a flow to the game which is what made it a lot of fun and I think that is what sets apart good escape rooms from other ones. What is also amazing about this escape room is that it makes you want to come back again and do the room another time in order to get a better score.
Overall, one of the best escape rooms to do in the Idaho Falls area. Highly recommend to anyone! Super excited for the next room that is going...
