Manitou Park — Attraction in Idaho

There is an off leash section of this park and there are some shady spots to sit under if you bring a chair. There are restrooms available. There are a few shady spots to pull over in the shade for your car so I come here to eat sometimes. The office park is off leash to the right and it's not excessive to disabled people very well because it's a walk and it's really sunny over there in the hot summer. Be careful of the dog police here! If you don't walk your dog on a leash over to the designated area they will give you a ticket. My best friend learned...

Beautiful park. I came here because Google said it's a dog park. Not quite, but yes. So there is no fencing. But you can walk you dog. There is a sign that designates certain hours for off leash. I can't remember what they were but something like 8am to 10am and 6pm to 10pm? There is also a couple dog toys to throw like a tennis ball. Pretty awesome! Obviously please make sure to clean up after your dog - especially since it is not officially a separate "dog park" - and return the toys...

Many people had their dogs off leash so I let my dog run around, his leash was on, dragging behind him. He saw a bunch of dogs in a chain link fence, and went running towards the dogs, barking and causing them to bark, I got a hold of him in less than 5 minutes and these really rude people came out and yelled profanity at me, needless to say, I reciprocated... It's a pretty park. Won't be going back with...
