Old Fashioned Fruit and Veg — Local services in Boise

I went to Old Fashioned Fruit and Veg last Saturday with my wife in hopes to acquire some nice fruits for our annual picnic my family and I hold each summer. The stock looked generally fresh (besides the watermelon), however we faced a much more sinister problem. When asking for directions to the strawberries because I missed them at the front, a younger man in his early 20’s and shorter hair(an employee) initially ignored me; He then answers my question in an annoyed tone, shaking his head at me and whispering something under his breath that i didn’t quite hear. Regardless, he did assist us in finding the fruits that we needed. However, he then “accidentally” charged us $49.99 instead of the $4.99 of the usual price of the strawberries, and was reluctant to give us our change after he mischarged us, seeming extremely annoyed. As an older man, I’ve heard great reviews about this place from my friends and co-workers. However what that young man did to us will not go unchecked. My wife and I are stunned by the disrespect displayed in the establishment. Fruit is decent, customer service is beyond subpar. 1 star. We hope this young man is thoroughly held accountable for...

My favorite fruit stand in Boise! They always have great deals on veggie plants and the flavored popcorn is super yummy too! They even helped me with some boxes this week while moving and I really appreciate it....
