For lunch, it's great to eat a picnic lunch! Particularly visited by Workers in big trucks. (I didn't see any kids here.) The kiddie climbing area structure is nice. However, the swings are awful!! This is a very HOT park (with only shade in the picnic area). It is very relaxing to come sit on the ramp dock to get away from life stress. Thankfully, there are lavatories and they...

Nice park. Places to put your kayaks in the water. Bathroom facilities are always clean. Picnic tables to eat at and small playground for children. Plenty of parking. Bullentin board with upcoming events or how to sign up for events or classes being held there. IHB police patrol periodlcally. Safe neighborhood. 7-11 close by. Great place to take the kids for a few hours....

Great place to launch kayaks and paddle boards. Was deserted on a Saturday a little after noon. Maybe because it was a windy day but the canal to the left is sheltered from the wind and is a great place practice paddle boarding when the water is too rough elsewhere.
