Gleason Park — Attraction in Indian Harbour Beach

A very nice park with many useful parts This is a 27-acre park with a recreation center, outdoor pool & 2 playgrounds, plus a lakeside trail. It is located to the south and west of the South Patrick Drive and Yacht Club Blvd intersection. It is a large open park with vehicular parking in 3 lots that can be found off the Yacht club blvd entrance. The trails are all flat and circle the park, lake and structures. It is dog friendly and there are often people walking and running with their furry friends. The playground is one of the nicer ones that I have seen in the area. There is a workout area located across from the playground. There are many gopher tortoises that call the park home so please be careful of where you are walking so that we can protect them. The lake has a large fountain and a dock that extends out over the water. I have observed art shows, wedding pictures and other events. Charity and I were going ohhh ahhh every time we turned the corner walking along Gleason park. Great place it would be to live in Indian Harbour Beach Florida. We had fun swinging on the swings sitting in the gazebo with the water fountain behind us it is an absolutely beautiful picturesque park they have a community center a public pool and outdoor workout area in the children’s playground is covered but the best part about it is it’s right down the street is millennium Park which is where we do moon yoga twice a month we love all the things that Indian Harbour Beach has to offer. I grew up playing at this park and my kids love it now. I live on the same street as this park and my family and I feel so blessed to live so close to such a big beautiful park. It's a great place to bring the kids to play on the playground or to jog around the lakes and exercise trails. The I.H.B. rec center is located here too and there are many different classes people of all ages can take. They also have a nice pool in the park and clean restrooms and showers as well. My favorite thing to do at Gleason is to bring my kids and feed the turtles, fish and birds from the big deck and pier.
