I ordered a part for my Weber on their website and was notified that it shipped to the store. Unfortunately, something went wrong and it wasn’t actually at the storm. This happened right during Hurricane Nicole, so definitely understandable. I was still a bit disappointed since I thought it was in and planned to use my grill. The manager went above and beyond, pulling the part off of one of their brand new webers to give to me. That’s customer service at a different level. While I know Ace is a bit more expensive than the big hardware stores, I will always check Ace first from now on, and I’ll even pay a little more for that kind of experience. I went back to exchange the item in the original packaging, unopened with the receipt. They told me they don’t accept returns or exchanges. No where on the receipt does it say this is the store policy. I’m very disappointed, Im now stuck with a $50 item that is useless to me. Actually seems unnecessarily stocked for being a beach side hardware store but hey I’m not complaining. It’s the nicest and largest Ace I’ve been too.
