If I could give Drifters Surf Restro 10 stars, I would! From the moment we walked in and sat at the sushi bar, it was like stepping into a hidden paradise of culinary excellence. We had a full view of the kitchen and got to chat with the incredibly talented chefs, which made the entire experience feel even more special and personal. The energy was vibrant, the service was genuinely the best I have ever experienced anywhere, and the food—oh my God, the food! We ordered an absolute feast: the hamachi was buttery and fresh beyond belief, the nigiri was pure art, and the sushi tacos were an explosion of flavor in every bite. The ceviche was so fresh it practically danced on the plate, the volcano roll was perfectly rich and spicy, and the raging Cajun roll had the perfect boldness to it. The crispy octopus was flawlessly cooked—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. And just when we thought we had reached the pinnacle, we ended with the ube cheesecake, which was pure dessert heaven. Light, flavorful, and addictively delicious! This wasn't just dinner, it was an unforgettable experience. Drifters Surf Restro is officially one of my favorite places on the planet. I can't wait to come back and do it all over again. We went to the soft opening phase of Drifters Surf Restro last night in Indian Harbour Beach and wow, we were blown away. The location is in the same strip as Happy Healthy Human and the Ace Hardware, and we’re delighted to have this in walking distance to us. The owners have done a fantastic job on the decor, creating a cool and relaxing beach/water/natural aesthetic. The owner was incredibly friendly and explained everything to us stopping to chat and check in and genuinely wanted feedback. Everything was perfection which for a soft opening is a rare occurrence. The ceviche was fresh and flavorful, paired perfectly with a chilled Albariño. The star was the coffee cacao crusted tenderloin with a truffle polenta and fresh vegetables. Cooked perfectly with intense flavor and a delicious sauce. I’ll be dreaming of this dish for a long time and can’t wait to go back for it. This is my go to order in a restaurant and I haven’t had a better order of beef in a very long time.

Genuinely, everything about our experience was fantastic and we are so excited to welcome them beachside.

Second time visiting. First time was a girls night out and last night was date night. I have been looking forward to going back🙌🤤🥰. The ambiance of the restaurant is cozy and coastal. The mood felt warm and inviting. The staff greeted us immediately upon entering and offered us a couple different seating options. We chose the seating at the sushi bar both times but they do have a couple of tables and bar seating as well.. remember it is a cozy spot and doesn’t offer a tremendous amount of seating…but I like that. 😄 It feels more intimate. The service was outstanding from start to finish. The FOOD was delicious. They offered a lot of healthy options and everything was unique and packed full of flavors. Some of the food options range from sushi, poke bowls, salads, to tenderloin, seafood, and bone in pork-chops. I was too full to try desert both times. However, they have options if you have a sweet tooth and still have room left in your belly. 😂🤣 I definitely recommend trying this place out. It will be a new goto favorite spot for dinner.
