This shop is never open. There’s always some reason, I went today and the owner is having surgery so the shop’s closed again and she seems like such a control freak because she doesn’t let anyone else run the shop while she’s away for health reasons or whatever, she doesn’t have any assistants. The place is a cluttered mess. I don’t get a chance to go down there very often but whenever I do, it’s always closed. The first time I went in there there were boxes of books everywhere and I tried to look in one and she rushed over and started yelling at me like I was some little child. Your purchases get saved into the system to track your reads and credits. All that being said- the real gem is the owner, Elva. You can tell this is truly her passion. Read moreThis is a nice local bookstore. They have a big selection of mostly paperbacks but do have some hard backs as well. They have some larger coffee table books too. The books are arranged in alphabetical order by genre which makes it easy to look for specific titles or authors. It is clean and the staff is friendly and helpful.
