If I could give this place a negative star I would. My experience today was absolutely horrible from the employee Simon and the fellow employees. I went to the nail salon so I could get 3 of my nails fixed that broke only a week into me getting them done. First when I walked in I was greeted by Simon if he could help me. I politely told him yes because he was the one who did my nails. I showed me whatās going on and that I would like to get them fixed. Not once did I ask for him to give me my money back, yell, scream or anything. There was a child in the facility so me yelling and screaming in front of the child would have not been polite. He then tries to blame my nails on me saying how I could have broken my nails. I proceeded to tell me well the last time I was here which was my first time my nails lasted 3 weeks and they were done by Bruce so how could that happen and I got the same thing (SNS) and when you do them they broke in a week? So ok he said he would fix them at no charge. He asked me to have a seat at a chair and pick out my color and he will be right with me. I said ok I sat down. Not rude at all I was just waiting which I had no problem with being as tho he had someone before me. Within maybe 5-10 minutes of me sitting he came and gave me my money back. I asked him why was I getting money back? He says I can not fix your nails because you are rude and your services are no longer welcome. My face was at utter shock because not once did I come in rude not once did I say anything rude to this man not once did I demand him to hurry up with anyone to do my nails. He then continues to say again it was my fault that my nails broke and to never return. Again I didnāt say anything rude because a child was right there because if you want to be totally honest I could have made a scene and thatās exactly what he wanted by degrading me as a person. So again I told him ok all I wanted was my nails fixed but since you gave me my money back you do not have to worry about me ever returning to your establishment if thatās how they treat ppl. I have never been so rudely dismissed in my life. That was only my second time there getting my nails done so me being rude was never the case. Even if I didnāt like something I would just never return to the place but I returned because I didnāt have a problems with my nails other than that they broke off and I spend way to much money getting my nails done for them to break in a week. Especially SNS that they promote does not break or chip for 2-3 weeks. I usually do not write bad reviews because Iām they type to just never return to a place again that I donāt like but for him to completely kick me out of his place because he messed up on my nails on purpose so I could come back and be like āO I need my nails doneā and pay for them is unacceptable. I did not have a problem waiting since it was Friday and there were other people there. When it was my turn I told the gentleman what I wanted and he started working on my nails right away. Now usually when I get a full set at Other salons I get a manicure as well with it meaning my nails soaked and cuticles cleaned up which they did not do, he did not even file my real nails. when he put the tips on my nails and was filing them he started paying attention to someone else that was talking and ended up making one crooked and it way shorter than the others so I told him he needed to file it and make it strsight and file the other ones to make them shorter to match and he got an attitude and said are you being difficult. I replied no other salons I get a manicure as well with it meaning my nails soaked and cuticles cleaned up which they did not do and all he did not even file my real nails then when he put the tips on my nails and was following them he started paying attention to someone else that was talking as he was following them and ended up making one cricket and way shorter than the others so I told him he needed to file it and make it correct and file the other ones to make them shorter to match and he got an attitude and said are you being difficult I replied no He told me that he only was doing my nails because I waited a long time and I told him that he could have asked me to come back tomorrow and he said no but he had to take his daughter out to dinner tonight and I told him that wasnāt my fault and he asked me if I wanted someone else to do my nails and I told him no but he is supposed to make the customer happy he then proceeded to be rude the entire time and make jokes with the other people there about how I wanted my nails done which was very unprofessional to me. My nails ended up being way shorter than I wanted, they are sloppy and look terrible. I will never go to this nail salon again nor would I ever recommend it to anyone. I was at his nail shop for almost 3 hours!!! I will be calling and speaking to the manager tomorrow to get this resolved because it was very unprofessional and from reading other reviews, this is not the first time that these people have been rude to someone or some terrible work. The massage felt great after I decided to get the deluxe. I refused the workerās attempt to upsell as I didnāt want gel-anything (had ruined my nails).
So, why am I writing⦠after drying my toenails, or so I thought, under the dryer, my big toe smudged⦠and so it began. (1) I was literally accused of causing the problem because I got āregular ā nail polish even though thin paper separator was used instead of the āstyrofoam toe separator-thingy.ā (2) When I asked for it to be fixed, I was told āitās busy, you have to wait.ā (3) Rather than repainting, it was painted over- now lumpy. (4) Then, it happened again⦠middle-aged pre-menopausal feetš¤·š½āāļøā¦ as other patrons have. I was then told it was my fault, he sulked, pouted (how unprofessional) and told me⦠āI donāt have time for this!ā
In all of my 35 yrs. of pedicures (from New York), this was a firstly hear (5) Management (male) addressed and gave me the ātoe separator thingā at this point- but it was too late!ā He said, āNo problem, itās dry!ā Now I was late for my hair appointment⦠Unprofessional. Sloppy. Embarrassing⦠Because of corners being cut, with an issue that could have been avoided all together.
I didnāt want anymore problems (thought about not paying) so I paid cash - the $54 (minus any tip).
I waited around because I needed my eyebrows done⦠Thatās it for me. I almost left before realizing my feet hadnāt been oiled⦠yes, I returned for the oil I had been promised⦠I put it on my feet myself⦠Awful!
If you are a business and itās busy, no need to be rude about it⦠Cash is green and I will take it elsewhere⦠So...
