I called this location on Friday around 7pm to see if my brother could exchange his headset which had insurance on it for something of equal value(specifically v buck gift cards). I explained to him that due to their stores being shut down from covid we had already purchased another headset and didn’t really have a use for one. I was given the approval from him because he stated the hardware warranty allows you to exchange for a different item all together unlike a normal warranty exchange where you exchange for the same product. Fast forward to sunday, my little brother walks in and the manager is rude with him and refuses to do the exchange. I talk to her over the phone to deescalate the situation and she continues to be rude with me. I asked her why she wouldn’t do the exchange when I called here before, and every GameStop I called in Indiana said the same thing in regards to vice and my insurance. The manager continued to ignore that and just refused to do the exchange. I simply asked for her name after and she told me that she wasn’t going to give me her name because I would file a complaint. I asked for more information that is required while making a complaint and that the GameStop employee had to share and she refused it. Read moreI absolutely was 100% impressed with service I received at this location when I visited! I walked in at 8:50 pm the night before Thanksgiving. There were already 2 other customers in line and being helped by the only worker in the store, Andrew. Even though it was the end of the night, he didn't rush anyone. He was very patient with the customers in front of me and even let them know about their membership status and reminded them when to renew. When it was my turn, I apologized ahead of time as I was there to get my son a PS5 but was also trading in an unlocked iPhone 13 Pro. He didn't mind at all! He went and got the PS5 I asked for, ran the diagnostic on the phone, and I ended up only paying the taxes and the protection plan because of how awesome of deals they give you for trade ins. And even after I was done, he still had 2 more customers to help. I'm sure it was past 9 by this time and Andrew kept a smile on his face and even helped me use the rewards we had on our GameStop account to save me the most out of pocket as possible. So, I walked to the counter, informed Aaron that I had just went to another game stop and they didn't have any controllers but that they had offered me a price for the trade in to which he informed that if I was getting that much from disc replay I should take them back. I said I didn't go to disc replay I just came from the other game stop. I told him that the employee at the other game stop tried to call but no one answered to which he replied, we are very busy.
