Nice park in the middle of town with play equipment for kids, a pavilion with table, grill and trash cans. There are short walking trails and a nice view of the Indy skyline. The park is open from dawn til dusk. A homeless person was sleeping on the picnic table when we visited, so that might make using the grill and pavilion area a bit uncomfortable. There are no restroom facilities and there is no parking lot.

Great spot to watch fireworks in the summer and enjoy a great view of the city with a friend or kids any time of the year. The playground equipment, like many parks including Ellenberger, is in mediocre condition but the park grounds and location are unmatched in their beauty. Walk downtown from the park or take a quick stroll through the neighborhood to a local pizza shop.

I always forget how cool this little park is. It's got interesting huge old trees and plenty of little ones. It's beautiful in fall and nestled in a cute neighborhood off downtown. There's a playground, a nice hill, and lots of nice paths. The neighborhood seems nice to walk around as well!

Highland Park is a small park located in the Holy Cross neighborhood of Indianapolis. It is known for its beautiful views of the downtown skyline, its hilly terrain, and its variety of trees. The park is open year-round and is a popular spot for picnicking, walking, and playing frisbee. Here are some of the pros and cons of Highland Park:

Pros: Great views of the downtown skyline Hilly terrain for a challenging workout Variety of trees to provide shade and beauty Open year-round Free to visit Quiet and peaceful neighborhood

Cons: Small park, can get crowded on weekends No playground equipment No restrooms No water fountains Overall, Highland Park is a great little park with a lot to offer. It is perfect for a relaxing afternoon picnic or a challenging hike. If you are looking for a park with a lot of amenities, this may not be the place for you. However, if you are looking for a beautiful park with stunning views, Highland Park is definitely worth...

Always love Highland Park. In my opinion, one of the best places in Indianapolis to see the sunset. It has a good elevation and a cool view of the skyline.

Some of my favorite sunsets have come from the top of the hill vantage point in Highland Park.

The area has really rebounded and is resurgent with growth. The park has a basic playground for kids, a shelter for family or friend get-togethers, some paths to walk or ride around, and a large grassy...
