I was highly disappointed in this experience. Probably one of the worst try-hard places I've ever been to. And I REALLY wanted to like this place.
Server was nice but explained they were having issues with the tap. It was way worse than that. Mentioned miller high life being on Sale. Great! Oh wait... out of stock. Sodas? Flat. "CO2 problems". Then She disappeared, gave our table over to the bartender without communicating that to us or him apparently as she was back and forth in the restaurant on the landline phone, presumably with support, since their credit software was down. Way to communicate.
We had to get our own napkins, only one roll of silverware was at the table but we all had finger food. wings were served (by the bartender, not the server) we had needed drinks already for several minutes (not wanting to bother the bartender whom at that point i had just assumed was helping out-), I had to go to the kitchen to find someone. They had to chase down the bartender since server was completely AWOL. Then after all of that, I bit in to cheese curds that were NOW cold and so over cooked it was nothing but breading. We had waited almost 45 minutes by this point. I mean is it too late to ask for my money back? I had such high hopes for this place.
Oh the wings you ask? Couldn't tell they were Buffalo wings since they had so many other flavors... none of which match up with or pair well with Buffalo sauce. Frankly I almost wonder if they just got the order wrong...?
The sauces they served ranch/bleu were extraordinarily salty (oh and no celery, at all, on dollar wing night. Not even in the restaurant. Someone tell their "chef" what mirepoix is. He's from the south you say? Oh then its trinity... but still includes celery. No wonder why they can't make a decent meal...). They tried to boujie everything up but instead made a mess with over salt, overly herbed, total mess in general. "Ranch"? More like dill pesto. With salt.
Plus both the tap and sodas were absolutely messed up...
....and no server to be found.
Had asked about vegan options, as they advertised such options. Was met with a blank stare.
Don't go here unless you absolutely just want to be disappointed. And spend too much money.
(Bartender, you were awesome. Thanks my...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Natural State Provisions, and it was an experience to remember! This restaurant truly embodies Southern-inspired cuisine, serving up dishes that are both delicious and comforting. From the first bite to the last, every dish was a testament to the culinary expertise behind the scenes.
One of the standout features of Natural State Provisions is the ample seating. Whether you prefer indoor dining or enjoying your meal al fresco, there’s always a perfect spot available. The outdoor seating area is especially delightful, offering a relaxed atmosphere that complements the fantastic food.
The bar at Natural State Provisions deserves a special mention. With a wide and impressive selection, it caters to every taste. Whether you’re in the mood for a classic cocktail or something more adventurous, you won’t be disappointed.
A unique and wonderful aspect of this restaurant is the dog park on the property. It's a joy to see patrons bringing their furry friends along, making for a lively and inclusive environment. The themed nights, including trivia and live music, add an extra layer of fun to the dining experience, ensuring there's always something exciting happening.
A special shoutout to the incredible staff who make every visit memorable. Manager Rosalie is simply the best—her warm hospitality and attention to detail are unparalleled. And Bartender Michael, despite looking like he's enrolled in a work-release program, is an absolute gem. His mixology skills are top-notch, and his friendly demeanor adds to the welcoming vibe of the bar.
Natural State Provisions is more than just a restaurant; it’s a community hub where great food, good times, and wonderful people come together. I can’t recommend it...
Read moreWe used to love coming here but since the time we first visited the feelings have drastically switched. The food was priced higher multiple dollars higher than the menus online list, the dog park was unmanaged to the point of people were leaving because the bar had no issue with people leaving their jumpy dogs in there unattended while they were inside playing pool for close to an hour an a half. We watched every person have to annoyingly ask why their food was taking so long and it was a slow time in the restaurant. My food tenders came out a solid 15 minutes before my partners burger came out. It was hard to get any service at the bar which is where you have to order and the rail was nearly empty. Probably will not be back in due to all the charm leaving and prices becoming arguably too expensive for the quality and level of service we have experienced the last few visits.
Edit to add: the reply is very backhanded. We went in expecting to spend a certain price because the last few years has hit everyone’s pockets we had a budget set and it was upsetting for the bill to be higher than listed online. We have been coming consistently for a while and while prices were definitely not higher than they are now our meals we ordered came with drinks and no longer do. So the price is higher than advertised, the appeal of free drink with meal was gone and the service was pretty deplorable, I’d imagine the staff hired would at least have competence of checking on their few guest. We were not the only people there that meal who were audibly annoyed with...
