The Perry Park pool is fine for younger kids. There is a nice play area for toddlers and the pool itself is shallow. It gradually deepens to a max depth of about 5 feet. The main attractions (at least for my son) are the large slides. They are about 3 stories up and there are 2 slides. One requires an inner tube and the other does not. My main complaint with the pool is that they start the season with a certain number of inner tubes and neither fix nor replace these tubes as they are damaged throughout the season. Last year, there were at least 30 inner tubes available when the park opened in May and only THREE left at the end of the season and there was a consistently long line to wait to get one. According to the manager I spoke with, the policy is to NOT replace damaged/destroyed tubes. To make matters worse, they won't let you bring in your own tube. Just the kind of managerial incompetence you expect from a government-run institution. If your kids like water slides, find another pool, at least late in the season when the lack of inner tubes makes this place a frustrating option.

Went to the Perry Park pool for the last time on Memorial Day weekend. The pool was only open 2 days and already they were down to only five tubes for the water slide. My son was rather disappointed he had to wait in line for a tube when the pool was...

Did not like this rink. Out of everyone there, only one person was polite to us. The lobby was dirty and smelt funny, the bathroom was dirty and very humid, the other people were rude. The only nice person was the young man who checked us in. Cost $5 for a training aid for youths, and even then they didn't have very many. You know it's bad when a 6 yr old says they don't want to come back to this one.

We went to the Carmel Ice Rink before, and only went to Perry Park because they were open to the public today. The one in Carmel was so much better. Everyone was really nice, the training aids were free, the prices were cheap, the lobby and bathrooms clean.

We will definitely be using the Carmel Ice Rink from now on. We still want to see what the ice rinks in Fishers and the Indiana State Fairgrounds are like, as well, but we prefer Carmel. We recommend you go...

Went today to the pool for the first time in 3+ years. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of fun my kids had at this pool and it was not crowded. That being said I have some major complaints today. First of all, the toilets in the girls locker room were broke and roped off… ok no big deal the sign said to use “family restrooms.” When I get to pool deck I notice that the group of lifeguards have set up shop right in front of “family bathroom.” When I asked about what bathroom I was suppose to use, one lifeguard just pointed arbitrarily at a door leading to who knows where…. So let me tell you my surprise and embarrassment when myself dressed only in my bathing suit opens this door and I’m standing in a LARGE CROWD of spectators at a HOCKEY GAME!!! No warning, no signage NO ANYTHING!!!! OMG I was soooooo mad!!!!!!! Do better for...

Completely not happy with how our trip went here. First off they said they had no skates to fit my 7 year old. I asked how that was going to work and the not so helpful young women had no clue how to perform the acts that was needed to be in the position they were in. There was three people that got skates of the same side and then I got a pair that I had to trade in cause to right feet. Then I get a pair that needed thrown away. Then finally I got a pair I could use. It took three different tries for my son as well. Then no one watches the ice. There was three adolescent boys with one of the walker helper for the younger group. They had one sitting on top and one on each side twirling and pushing it. Hit the side then the back of us. We didn’t even stay an hour. SMH total waste of money.

Great place for family fun skating, learn to skate, and ice hockey. The staff are very kind and do their very best to ensure that our para ice hockey club has a place to call home. While some accessibility features could be updated, they are constantly looking for ways to improve their facility. The staff are friendly and helpful. Amazing place for the Indy Steel Sled Hockey and Checkers Blind Hockey programs to call home!

I expect a single bathroom to close and lock. Had to hold the door closed so my kids can go. If you have your own skates and know how its ok. Rental skates have no give so they dont fit properly causing your ankle to roll. There arent enough training stands to go around and rude people hoard the few that were there.
