The food was perfect and the servers were very friendly, as well as being perfectly attentive. The chips were excellent and freshly done. The guacamole is made at the time of the order and the server/preparer was openly concerned about our opinion of her results. Her concern was due to the recent supply chain issues with fresh avacados because of the political stunt by the Texas governor (that was my opinion, not her words). The restaurant appears to have opened only recently: it was clean, well organized, and decorated as you would expect at a place named "Cinco de mayo" . . . bright, festive colors, and a traditional motif. We would definitely recommend this establishment. It's a 30+ minute drive from our home. We have a number of Mexican restaurants in our immediate area, yet we plan to visit this...
Read moreFood was pretty good. I got a lunch item with a whole pepper in it and the pepper was slimy and gross. Other than that the steak was really good and so was the chicken. I wish they would have given me more cheese and they brought me for instead of corn. Not a huge deal but it took a while to get me corn and by then my food was getting cold. The worst part was when I asked for hot sauce. They brought a tasteless homemade mixture to me and charged me $2 for it. She didn't even tell me it would cost anything or I wouldn't have ordered it. Idk that gave me a bad feeling. I run a business down the street I was hoping I found a new little gem but it may be a while before I'm back. I can tell the food has potential to be good here though. Very different than most mexican...
Read moreMy husband did carry out for us. I ordered Pollo Ranchero Special. Which is Grilled Chicken strips and shrimp w/grilled onions, peppers and tomatoes on a bed of rice covered w/cheese. It comes w/beans the girl said. This is what I received. Nothing else, but three soft shells. Mind you, the breast was one big piece. I had to cut it up. One tiny tomato piece, two pepper slices, and three tiny onion pieces. No cheese, no rice, no beans. I phoned them and was informed that this is something people usually order as a side. It is listed in the dinners and it is $14.00. I actually don't care about the price if I get what I want. Let me tell everyone. Luciano's is right down the street. Not much more in price and huge servings. I hate...
