Feast of the Lanterns celebration was very nice. Lots of pretty lighted lanterns and not your run of the mill vendors, but more local artists, which was refreshing to see.

Feast of the Lanterns celebration was very nice. Lots of pretty lighted lanterns and not your run of the mill vendors, but more local artists, which was refreshing to see.

Beautiful park with lots of mostly flat grass, a small (2-4 picnic table size; not provided) pavilion. A playset designed for 4-10 year olds is engaging (heights mostly make it less toddler friendly). Many shady areas from mature trees. A bridge crosses the (not very accessible, for better or worse) creek. No paved paths so not as stroller or wheelchair accessible. No bathrooms. Noise pollution reasonable for being in the city.
