C & A Electronics — Attraction in Inglewood

I took my laptop in for a diagnostic check, i just had replaced the bottom cover due to the old cover being broken from the hinges. After a couple of days I called for a status as the lady said it would take 2 days, being the 5 day and all. The tech said he could not find the problem why the laptop wouldnt turn on, so I decided to pick it up to send the cover back and get a refund. When I arrived to pick it up, I found it odd that i was not going to get charged the diagnostic fee, I figured it was because they couldnt find the problem. Once I got home and started to remove the screws, i notice that the hinge was broken, so i called and they said that the tech didnt do it, that I should have check the laptop before i left. Come on how am I supposed to check for internal damage if the laptop is closed up! The lady insisted that I was trying to get over on them, I could not believe the nerve. They then said they would check the camerasand then they would call me back, but I doubt it. It would take a good amount of force to break the hinges but now its my word against theirs. I would never return to this place again, I hope the review helps any other person that thinks about coming here for a repair or dianostic.

C & A failed to call me back or have any Integrity at all. 20 years of experience and can't figure out that the chip needed to be reflowed (took it to a real tech). The fact that the cover had missing screws was because the pervious cover had broken so the screws fell out. I work in a EMS company and work on PC Boards on a daily basis and would had done the work myself it I had the proper equipment at home. C & A have more the one complaint about returning items broken and getting over on people. If i would have broken the hinge why would i send it to them for a diagnostic? and as they stated, they would have reported it if they had recieved it broken. I am more then willing to take a lie detector test to prove i didn't break the hinge and recieved it back broken. Poor customer service and...

The staff is extremely friendly, kind and professional, it is the dream place for a techie like me. Why? C&A is a one-stop shop for all computer needs from software, hardware, installation and repair with excellent service provided in a timely manner. And to top it all off they offer prices that are extremely reasonable. In fact, when they give a price quote, I guarantee it can’t be matched anywhere else. I always recommend C&A to friends and relatives. Several years ago, I moved to the Antelope Valley but guess what I still drive down to the C&A electronic “oasis” now that ought to speak volumes about their 5 star out of 5-star service they offer.

This is one of the best computer repair shops I've been to. Mirna (the owner) and Claudia (her daughter) were incredibly welcoming and especially on Christmas Eve! My Lenovo Thinkpad was stuck in sleep mode and wouldn't shut down and they helped me fix it. 99% of other computer repair shops were closed and one even told me my motherboard had died (he clearly didn't know what he was talking about) and they were open until 4PM. They are extremely hardworking and offer an unparalleled customer experience.

When I arrived, they asked questions to first understand the problem. Luckily, I had done some research, so I could present an idea to explore. They then got their rockstar computer technician (Baltazar) to listen and once he understood the issue, he then brought the computer back to try the solution I presented.

The result: my computer is fixed! A working computer is the best Christmas present I could get this year.
