The Salon of Inglewood — Attraction in Inglewood

Came in for braids from Champagne thebeautychamp and was completely dissatisfied.

To start, i asked her to add hair to my braids so i could have the look I wanted and she insisted i just use my own hair to keep the natural look. She managed to convince me though I did not walk in asking for that.

I told her i didnt like them when she finished but she insisted they looked good.

I wouldve just let it pass had she not used this glue for extensions (not to be used on real hair) at the end of my braids to hold them together so that when it came time to takethe braids out i lost more hair than ever in my life. I had to leave the review because Champagne told me it was $40 which was already overpriced, but when I paid her $50 she "didnt have change" so essentially she tipped herself because no other hairdresser was present to give her change. No one ever answered the phone. When I went to the actual location, The hours on the door (as well as Google) say they're open 8am to 6pm Tuesday-Saturday, but when I arrived only one person was in the building. She turned me away saying there was no one to do my hair. What in the heck! I can go past any salon that deals with fine texture hair and there is always someone available.... why is it I can never find a salon that deals with 4c hair in a professional...

I’ve been coming here I believe 2yrs or end of December makes 2yrs. Anyway the beauty champ started my locs and I absolutely love them. She washes, conditions, retwist in any style, cuts my hair and basically just keeps me FRESH. I spend an easy 120-140 but I definitely DON’T mind because she definitely deserves it and more.
