Great selection – HOWEVER! Please be aware the prices listed on the sign behind the cash register may NOT be correct. I bought a clothing item yesterday that had no price tag – which means it’s automatically the price that’s listed on the sign hanging on the wall behind the cashier. There were two ladies behind the counter. The sweet, older woman was ringing me up when the younger woman sitting in a chair told her to charge me MORE for my item. The older woman looked confused and told her that’s not what the sign said. The younger woman said she was aware of that - but someone (no idea who) told her to charge more. I said, “But that’s not what the sign says.” The younger woman stood up and looked at me squarely and said, “Hey - you’re still getting one heck of a deal!” I didn’t want to argue so I went ahead and paid more for my item. However, I do think it was unfair – so I just wanted to let...
Read moreI used to LOVE this store, but lately the prices are so extreme I have to wonder if I’m in an antique store or a THRIFT store. I’m not even joking... there was a wood bench for over $300 on my last visit. I was told by someone in the community that it has a new owner, so maybe thats why there has been so much inflation with prices. In the past I was able to buy a salad bowl for $5-$6 and now one would likely cost $15-$20 here. Just not thrift store prices....🤷‍♀️ Despite the costs, the ladies who work the register are lovely and wonderful! There is a lot to look at and a good mixture of nice things inside. I don’t live in Kerrville, but would travel there monthly to go here. Sadly if the prices don’t go back down, I probably won’t be frequenting this...
Read moreI have been going to this thrift store for years. I stopped by there today and found out it is no longer one of my favorite thrift store. Why is everything getting so expensive? $40,$60 for beat up shoes. Stop trying to sell the brand name if the shoes are not in good condition. Then I see a price list by the dressing rooms. Here's an example of how it reads. Dress $5 and up, shirt $3 and up, skirt $3 and up. So really that's not much of a price list at all. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one that would like to know exactly what I will be spending before I get up to the register.Sad to say I won't be back again. On to other thrift stores that treat their...
