
There was one off the clock employee who tried to help us with our constantly malfunctioning lanes, but after he left, it was like pulling teeth to get any help. After the befuddled employee couldn't get our lane to keep score at all anymore, we decided to leave and asked for our money back for our partial game that we couldn't finish. We were treated like we were trying to swindle THEM and accused of having played more games than we claimed. I hate to say the staff was completely inept, because the one young man, whose name i regret not getting, did try to help us DESPITE being off the clock, even telling us that they should switch the lanes we were on, but aside from this young man, its a wonder the place is able to remain open with the way the staff treats the customers. And my chagrin is NOT over the measly 3 dollars back per person we were asking for. I would have gladly payed ANOTHER 3 dollars per game, to have been able to play somewhere that I can go more than 4 frames without having to wait 5-10 minutes for an employee to fix the equipment at the end of the lane. Our summer league team captain signed us up for the Hemmingway league (fall) he said we were the first to sign up for this tuesday night 5person team league.....he gave the bowling alley manager JANE ALL 5 OF OUR NAMES ....BECAUSE THERE WERE SUPPOSEDLY NO FORMS AT THAT TIME SHE WROTE OUR NAMES ON A PIECE OF CARDBOARD TO GIVE TO THE LEAGUE SECRETARY...(Karen) now here the night of the league meeting our team has no team position due to lack of follow thru and what I call lack or professionalism by the manager who likes to tell you one thing and later lie to you saying she never did that...also likes to talk so you cant.....it is allways somebody else's fault or mistake.
Our team captain gave us a detailed information of how and what was done on the day he talked with JANE AND HOW SHE TOOK DOWN THE INFORMATION...HER IMMEDIATE RESPONSE WAS SHE DOSENT WRITE ON CARD BOARD....... Read moreIt had been a couple months since we've been bowling but, they need the old crew back. We've bowled here many times. Never had any issues at all. Came and saw some new faces, atmosphere changed a little, even the music selection. It used to be a mix of everything. Figured it was just new hires pr something. This time, checking in was fine. The lady at the desk was fine. Ordering food was fine. The bartender, a different story. She had the nastiest attitude. We normally leave tips. I refused to tip this girl because of her attitude. Then she mumbled something but didn't want to repeat it. So, I kindly asked her what was her name. Of course she said it was none of my business lol we still spoke with the front desk lady about her.
