We came here for a concert and the parking was horrendous!! Please come by at least 30-45 minutes early just to deal with parking. Seems as though all the attendants were college freshman and didn't really know what they were doing. Eventually, they guided us to employee parking and told us to not worry about being ticketed. We weren't, but that would have saved a lot of time....
The concert itself was good; the sound, not so much. There are no acoustics in the place as it is basically a practice gym. I didn't even bother with the concession stand as the line went halfway around the place.
I would go here again if there was a show I just HAD to see, but I would definitely leave earlier to deal with the parking fiasco. A plus was there wasn't any junkies or weirdos outside that you may typically see leaving a concert venue. Just one of the benefits of seeing a show...
Read moreWas here for a cheer competiton. First, parking in the structure seems like it only fits compact cars (stacked in there like sardines), they had "compact parking" that was more like for motorcycles. I saw security writing tickets to vehicles not in the lines when clearly if they parked any closer they wouldn't be able to open their own doors. I doubt the university would want to take responsibility for any damaged vehicles but quickly claim their right to write tickets. 2nd when we entered the event center, the seats were so uncomfortable. Thirdly when we were done after parking on the very top floor we waited about half an hour to finally exit the structure. People entering and exiting at the same time. The campus was nice but, not so...
Read moreI was here last week for my kid’s graduation. Think the student count was 200, and many family and friends were there. The facility was clean, staff were mostly helpful. The security who conducted traffic and parking certainly had their hands full so credit given. The entrance part in which have to go through metal detectors only had two out of three open so getting in took little time but not horribly so. Parking garage was the only real nightmare because of there was only one elevator (or at least that I knew of) so there was a problem of people trying to cram into it at once; thankful it was only one level up and set of stairs close so we just end up taking those. Only real con I can think of was how wobbly the bleachers felt but...
