Claire Trevor Theatre — Attraction in Irvine

My 1st time there...love the theater settings, comfortable seat (for me). Students did great job. 👍 Down sides:

1. only 2 actual ADA seats designated...there were more people and/or assistants crowded together. 2). One senior lady fell going down steps. Seconds later, still no staff around. I reached out to help her. Then, several other theater attendees also helped & nice gentleman helped her up. At end of show, outside, I asked the staff (who showed us the theater entry earlier) if he was aware of what happened, negative was reply. He thanked me for bringing it to his attention. I was at isle seat, 2nd row down, also noticed others catching themselves & reached for hand railing.

Overall, great job interpreting show contents. Well done, students. ...

Went to see Green Day's American Idiot performance. I have to admit this was the first college play I have attended, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. One really nice feature is they have a meet and greet with the performers after the show.

Obviously not as polished or elaborate as School of Rock at the Pantages, but still an energetic well directed performance. Far and away better than any daytime show I've attended in Las Vegas, and even 1 or 2 off-strip night time performances.

As far as the theater itself pretty standard fare but seating is comfortable and well laid out and since there's only 287 seats there won't be a bad seat...

This is a lovely theater on the UCI campus. We saw Cabaret and it was wonderful! The actors, singers, and musicians were great!!!

They would have made a lot of money by selling water (and wine/beer). They also could have better directions from the parking lot. Fortunately for us, a kind alumus showed us how...
