Taco Bell - Live Más Café — Restaurant in Irvine

Honestly a pretty dismal experience. Firstly, the wait times are absolutely ridiculous. You'll be lucky if you get a very small order within 20 minutes. Wait times can sometimes exceed an hour as they always seem to prioritize the drive through and they leave the people in the lobby with little to no service. There is rarely anybody at the front so it's extremely hard to find somebody to talk to. The app works terribly with this location. If you try to order 20 minutes before they close on the app then it won't go through. In additionto this, they don't care what their posted hours are and they seem to close when they want. I went in today 15 minutes before closing only to find that they stopped taking orders 30 minutes before closing. Of course they were still serving the drive through and taking orders there. So even though I arrived 15 minutes before closing, I was refused service. Absolutely ridiculous.

The restaurant itself is also almost constantly dirty. Napkins, overflowing trash bins, and spills on every table will likely greet you when you enter.

The only saving grace is the food. It's pretty good for a taco bell... if you're lucky enough...

This is one of the cleaner Taco Bell that I have been to. The staff is extremely friendly and greet you as you walk in. The lines are pretty short and the food comes out in a quick manner. What really strikes me is the interior is well kept and offers a clean comfortable environment. I assume since it's located next to a campus, they provide a lot of outlets for their guests. I've studied here before and it's quite pleasant due to its quiet nature and their comfy couches.

The only downside about this place would be that the bathroom has a really bad odor. Also, not really a big negative but sometimes the food for the drive through does take quite a bit longer. But this depends on the amount of vehicles in front of you.

I would definitely recommend this place if you want a quick bite to eat or somewhere quiet to study. I would also recommend coming in around 2- 5 for their happy hour. Dollar drinks and...

Once a week, I try to remember to go to the Taco Bell at UTC for the usual... Two Spicy Tostadas and Black Beans on the side. It’s standard fare! My lunch is light, inexpensive and quick. The total tab: $3.76! Where else can you get a better and fast Vegetarian lunch for under $5? I have also tried their popular Veggie items including the Seven-layer burrito, Half-pound Bean burrito, Black Bean burrito, Mexican pizza and Cheesy, Fiesta potatoes... however, after reading how much sodium and extra calories one consumes from their tortillas, I now stay away from their burritos. I have also enjoyed their Veggie Bowl in the past (which costs over $5.) In summary, if you want a quick and inexpensive lunch, you can’t go wrong with Taco Bell.
