At the conclusion of UC Irvine afternoon event, three (3) of us went to the UCI Ctr Luna Grill (LG) and it was the best choice possible out of all the eateries there. I frequent my local LG in Aliso Viejo and hadn't been to this one. The staff was so courteous and friendly, providing great service and wonderful food in a comfortable environment. One piece of constructive input: pls consider lowering the price of the wine by glass and 375 ml bottles to make it commensurate with the good value of the food. I know wine is not cheap and LG's prices have always been a bit high, though the quality of the wine offered is good. Not recommended! Grate food with combination of Mediterranean, Greek and Persian culture. But as I was taking pictures for feedback purposes here, another staff (not the one on these pictures) came to me and asking me ". . did u take picture of me?, . . If yes please delete it... I don't want be on picture. . ." When staff that are working at restaurant or shop, etc don't want or like to be on picture, these are clear warning signs that they do not like their jobb and are ashamed and feel embarrassd to work there. Luna Grill is a classic. Everything tastes great and never fails. Super friendly service, everyone had a smile on their face and welcomed us when we walked in. While my girlfriend and I really enjoy the grilled meats, I have to give a shout out to the freshness of their salad ingredients. It tastes like they just went out and picked the baby lettuce and tomatoes.The flatbread is soft and the hummus wonderful.
