Orchard Park — Attraction in Irvine

We went to this park only because it has a restroom (1star - it is clean and functional) and a playground (1star-ish). It goes downhill from there. We found large spiders on multiple play spaces (type unknown, but not your ordinary house spider), and I did get bitten by something while sitting on a bench. Time will tell. The picnic tables look like they haven’t been cleaned in ages, and the landscaping is bare minimum maintained (basic lawn mowed; nothing else done). Recently this place has become a nuisance due to bird migration or heritage park bird coming here . There are bird poops and would not recommend going unless city fix or clean . Lot more need to be done here . Improve on quality of grass . Water fountain is clogged or not working properly . There is no water fountain for 🐕.. Kids area is dirty . Need lot of improvements . It’s too crowded by some vendor vans . Park not clean enough. Need Irvine police surveillance here for illegal Parking of car , truck and Rv’s. Homeless people are living in...

I liked this park because it has 2 full sized basketball courts, and a big grass field for baseball, soccer, football, etc... They also, which is very rare, have a vending machine which gives Gatorade and this is the first time I have seen this at a public park. However, they need to work on having more water fountains, there is only one, and a bigger playground for small kids. Overall, a great place...
