Irvine Florist Marketplace — Attraction in Irvine

A few days ago my husband ordered 2 dozen roses for delivery which cost $125 to be delivered today, our anniversary. I received 19 roses. When my husband called this business to tell them they had charged us for 2 dozen roses but only delivered 19, the person on the phone told us that there had been a price change in the 2 days since the order and the person who made up the bouquet didn't know and so only sent us 19. When my husband asked them to make it right, they said they would deliver 6 roses on Monday (today is Saturday). B/c my husband is British and unable to be confrontational, he accepted a $26 credit. We just checked on their website and the price remains $125, so their excuse was a lie. I wanted to call this establishment to call them out no their lies, but he wouldn't let me b/c he could see how angry I am. So if you order flowers from IRVINE FLORIST MARKETPLACE, be sure to count your flowers or else you will be cheated. I tried to find this business on the BBB website, but surprise,...

I originally posted this a month ago. They delivered to the wrong address, and I had to figure out how to get it. Someone took the flowers because they were just dropped on a table and not left with an actual person They offered a 20% discount.

Never received the discount.

Then they offered to deliver a new boquet…after I took my one star review down.

I took it down only because they were, in essenae, holding my order hostage. Now that I haven’t received the refund after thirty days, I’m putting it back up.

You’re taking your chances with this company. The flowers are fine. The delivery needs a lot of work.

EDIT: he called me and said he never offered a refund, even going so far as to call me a liar. Included is the proof. This guy is someone I’ll never do business with again, calling up and harassing people for truthful reviews. His reply...

This florist went above and beyond! I was SO pleased and surprised when they texted me a photo of the ACTUAL floral arrangement that was being sent out for delivery to my recipient...with a note that the flowers were on there way for delivery. They were soooo beautiful! I was so appreciative for the notification and also for them sending a picture to me. They are the ONLY florist that has ever sent me a picture of the actual product being delivered. It's such a nice extra touch of customer service. As a customer, I always wonder if what the person is receiving will REALLY looks AS GOOD as the online photo. In this case, I was very pleased....They looked FABULOUS!
