Palo Verde — Attraction in Irvine

Nice place to live at while a UCI student if you're lucky enough to get housing here. The pricing is super cheap, the rooms are spacious. There's nice amenities here like BBQ grills throughout the complex. Now for the negatives, parking sucks. There's not enough parking and they don't do parking checks on the nights when it gets packed with cars of people visiting. Many times I'd go out and come back to find the entire complex full and I had to park on the other side closest to the ARC and walk 10-15 mins to get to my apartment. There's no AC in the units. There's no elevators, if you're on the second floor or third floor.......get ready to climb those stairs anytime you're bringing in groceries or moving in or moving out.

But, I did love my time here as a UCI student. The ARC is only 10 mins away walking. You're right next to campus so you don't need to catch a shuttle like at the ACC apartments. And they have two community gardens (with really long waiting...

Fairly priced apartment complex with large rooms having internet and TV ready to go. Nice stainless steel grills to cook with the roommates and friends. Staff is super friendly and mostly everything gets taken care of in a timely manner. Did not like how the carpets in the shared spaces were dirty instead of cleaned before move in.
