Dear Valley Ranch Islamic Center Team,
Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,
I hope this message finds you in the best of health and Iman. I am writing to express my sincere disappointment with the arrangements made for the Eid-ul-Fitr 2025 Salah.
Despite anticipating a large turnout, it was disheartening to see that only one Jama’ah was arranged. Most masajid across the DFW area scheduled multiple Jama’ahs to accommodate the growing number of worshippers — a practice that has proved efficient and inclusive. Unfortunately, due to the overwhelming crowd, many of us ended up praying in the school hallways, where the khutbah was not audible and the prayer itself began without our awareness. We could not hear the takbeerat or the Imam, and it genuinely felt as though we had missed the Eid Salah altogether.
I live just three minutes from ICI, but I chose to attend Valley Ranch Islamic Center because of my love for the community and having spent the entire month of Ramadan here. However, this experience left me deeply disheartened, as Eid is a moment of spiritual joy and unity. I found myself wanting to pray again just to feel that sense of completion.
I am sharing this not in criticism but with the hope that future arrangements will better reflect the needs of the growing congregation. I truly believe Valley Ranch Masjid can and will rise to the occasion, in sha Allah.
Jazakum Allahu Khairan for your continued efforts and dedication to...
Read moreThe low ratings is only for the women volunteers who firstly need to learn to be compassionate and respectful to everyone whether they are young, old, able to pray or not. Their only job is to be helpful unfortunately they’ve failed. I must say that the volunteers alone have ruined the whole experience of Jummah. I was able to enter the payer hall after salah to get a glimpse of Omar Suleiman but they did not allow my 10 year old daughter to enter. What rules are you trying to imply?? The volunteer told me that in this mosque they prefer people who are coming to pray rather than the ones that don’t have salah 😒 I’m here on visit and this may probably be the only time I’m visiting this mosque and this is how I’m spoke to. They have the most unorganized way to divert crowd out of the hall. There wasn’t a single person who wasn’t irritated by their rude behavior and stuck...
Read moreI enrolled my daughter who is 2 years and 9 months old to the RARE program at VRIC, she is a baby who doesn't get along very well easily with anyone and everyone, but I was shocked to see that the teachers were dealing with her so amazingly. She absolutely LOVES it and keeps asking when she will go back again to the class next. This is really huge- she hasn’t been away from her parents ever in life and getting along because of the teachers and great classroom environment within 5 mins is a lovely achievement. I am super happy to see her enjoy the way she does. I really wanted to give a review and acknowledge the fact that RARE is great with awesome teachers. I recommend it to all with a great feedback and shout out to teachers - Sister Sanobar and Sister Bushra for being so kind, jovial, patient, kid-friendly, and very talented to take care of kids...
