Barbershop does not know how to give proper cuts and Iâm assuming hire anyone. I went yesterday to get a cut AND NOTE MY HAIR WAS CURLED AND WAS PRETTY BIG. I asked for a LOW taper and I showed the barber how much I wanted off the top but Iâm guessing this person did not know how to cut. She was a female barber so I was a bit skeptical at first but decided to give her a try. giving a female barber is a mistake. But anyway she started with the sides and it seems pretty good but when she started on the back I clearly felt that she was not giving me a taper. She was cutting high as hell and u can already tell that she doesnât know what she was doing. I donât even want to start with the top because in my head I was like âno way she can mess up my top because itâs pretty big and bulkyâ oh boy was I wrong. She turned me into an average hispanic boy, removed all my curls, and even cut my ear. By the time she was finished I was depressed. I got home and checked thinking it wasnât bad. Bro the back of my head was like an upside down U because it faded only down the middle. Basically wasnât even a fade it was just a line which pissed me off. I went to a different barbershop later and they fixed me up. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BARBERSHOP. And if u donât listen and still go DO NOT cut with this girl named JENNY im assuming because I kept hearing Jenny or...

I should have checked the photos and reviews more carefully before going. Itâs clear now that the work they do is pretty mediocre and the hygiene standards are questionable. I paid $35 for a taper fade and specifically asked not to cut anything off the top because Iâm trying to grow my hair out. From the moment I walked in, the owner (I recognized him from his photo on the licenses on the wall) he looked uncomfortable and asked me multiple times what I wanted, even though I had already explained it when I arrived. The place was completely empty, yet the vibe felt unprofessional.
During the whole haircut, I never saw how it was turning out, and at the end, he didnât even show me the back. I paid the $35 because the âjobâ was already done and I hadnât asked in advance how much it would cost. Two days later, I now have a rash on the back of my head where he used the clippers. I never saw what tools he used or how clean they were, but I did notice that the entire shop was dirty, with hair in every corner. This makes me think they donât follow proper sanitation protocols, which could put anyone at risk for infections.
Because of how uncomfortable I felt visiting this place, Iâd rather not go back...
