Abundance Venues (formerly D’Lorice) — Attraction in Irvington

Absolutely terrible customer service. No only do they not answer phones or emails but when you go there, there's never no one there. But after 3 attempts of calling and going I finally get to see someone and the man had the nastiest attitude. Told me to stand there while he spoke with someone, which I did but I took a look into the bathroom he came running as if someone was stealing something and stand to go sit over there. As my child was just standing on the steps he tells my child don't play on the steps or rub your hands on the wall. I said to rub his hands on the wall what. He said yes this is a banquet hall not a venue we have to pay over $5000 to maintain this place. So I looked at him like are u serious (mind you my son hands wasn't not the walls at all). The man then says to me you looking at me as if I'm saying something stupid. I then say to him no I'm looking at you as if I'm a person that's looking to put money in your pockets and your customer service sucks so you have a nice day. He then continues to talk as I'm walking saying he don't care about what I think, have a nice day (with smiles and laughs) I said I would never recommend this place. Your service and customer service is horrible. And i continued to leave. I don't recommend anyone to go there especially if you don't already know the people. Besides the outside looks nice but the inside looks plan and boring. Invest your money...

This place was going to be nice venue for a bday party I planned to have. I called them up set a date for me To see the place and pay my deposit. Once I got to the place I seen that is was nice and could fit the amount of people I planned on having. Originally already told her on the phone I wanted to book it so she put my name down and said she would secure it. She gave me a date which was 2 days later to come pay deposit and so I sent off my bday invitations with the address because I had already been put in the books and when I came to pay my deposit and she found out I was having a lingerie/pajama themed party she told me I couldn’t have the party there anymore. The date was a day before Halloween where people have all types of costume parties. Anyway she wasted my time and my designers time because she was coming to see it as well. She had no remorse or care for what she just did. I could have been calling other places but she had already told me I secured spot. Terrible. If I had never told her the theme and paid for the spot and we showed up makes me wonder if she would have turned me away. That’s what I get for be friendly and talking about my bday party. Hi would you recommend no one to get this venue it is a very nice venue but the people that runs it is not proper and me personally I wouldn’t recommend no one I mean no one to getting married there to have an event there and when I tell you her daughter may ruins things but her mother is better than her I’d like her mother very much because she gave us the most respect and her brother but the daughter she does not know how to run things she’s very evil and mean God bless her and she wonderful year or a success with her banquet...
