Very disappointed, my son took 2 times of Y4 in this summer, in the first time of the instructor who didn't teached anything, all I could see her sat there and kept picking her nails (fingers & toes), sometime I saw her washed her fingers in the pool water, very disgusting, in the last 2 days, when she tested all the skills that she supposed to teach during the class, but she didn't, she failed my son with 1 good minus mistake of flipping....I thought it was ok, and I just let my son took the second time..on the second class, it was no difference at all, the instructor didn't teach anything in the first 3 class, then he took a couple days off, I saw there is 2 instructors instead, it seemed much better, I saw they teached very good, when the original instructor returned back , I saw his leg was injury, also there is still one more assistant to help him, of course he sat there and let the assistant do the rest, actually I could see my son swim pretty good and they didn't pick him that much, but only couple times that I saw, also they didn't teach flipping this time, guess the flipping skill wasn't very important to them this time at all. Yesterday when my son received the report card, he failed by 1 good minus of simply butterfly skill. I talked to instructor, he said my son didn't do it 'perfectly'! Well, how can all the students have the good skill and pass the level if they don't teach, and the parents need to pay for the class again with 1 good minus according to their lousy...
Read moreThis review is for their swim lessons specifically for the youth. I havenât witnessed the other lessons but if same instructors more than likely same standards and quality âšď¸. If you want good quality and high standards swimming lessons for your young ones, THIS IS NOT IT! Do not waste your time and money! More importantly your childâs time, effort, potential and opportunity to improve. Your child will not improve with their swimming lessons. This was a downgrade for us and regretted signing up from the first day of lesson. Lessons are 45 minutes, instructors drag their feet getting set up for the first lesson. They never start on time (always late every week) but they will finish on time or earlyđ A lot of talking and breaks, very minimum swimming. Instructors donât really teach anything as they probably lack of teaching experience themselves because the instructors are young adults and look like high school students or just recently graduated of high school. We are really disappointed with the program. Whoever is leading these young instructors, really need to turn this program around. Instructors needs training themselves to be effective and really help and push each students to improve.
To add, one of their young male lifeguards will traumatise your young one as he do not hesitate to yell at them if they unintentionally violate one of their rules. Like he was talking to his younger...
Read moreNothing super amazing. Decently priced.
Swim lessons are designed to get your child to be able to swim/float in water much faster than the red-cross programs I have tried before. However the lessons donât focus on the proper form of the swim strokes. I saw kids in higher levels with very poor swim form.
In a nutshell, the swim lessons will teach your child to get from point A to B. But they wonât focus on improving the style or form of the swim strokes.
Staff is friendly. But bathrooms are a nightmare. Kids over 6 can not accompany in change rooms and there are only two family change rooms that are queued up at swim lesson hours. And parents are hogging empty bathrooms waiting for their child to return from swim lessons. Staff doesnât enforce rules. So the whole swim lesson experience can be a little stressful and frustrating because some patrons have no respect for other...
