I just wanted to take the time to recommend Ricardo Martinez, the owner of FitBox Gym in Issaquah. I have hired Ricardo to be my personal trainer just recently for this summer - twice a week. From the start, it was clear he wasn't just there to count reps - he's fully invested in helping his clients grow, both physically and mentally. He takes the time to understand your goals, your limtiations (I have a bad right shoulder that I injured while attempting to do heavy weights about a year ago, but right shoulder is now healing beautifully, thanks to Ricardo!), and even change your mindset on days when motivation is low. There is no one-size-fits-all approach with him, and you never feel like just another client on the schedule.
Ricardo has taught me new fitness moves that I have never learned in my 20-year experience! He brings fresh new energy into my workout! He even showed me how to do boxing which tells me he cares about all of his clients and is attentive and supportive.
