I chose the strand of beulah because it’s a beautiful property and the staff was pleasant or so I thought. If you have anything on your record do not apply. Their administrative $155 and app fee $50 is non refundable which I feel is a rip off. When I got denied, they became rude and never returned calls or emails. They started to treat me like I wasn’t a person or it may have been the color of my skin. The denial letter did not even come til I made a fuss. Even if you are denying someone, don’t treat them rude or just ignore. The reason for my denial is because in 2013, I got in a bad accident where my sister passed away. She was not in a seatbelt, so I plead to Reckless Operation of Motor Vehicle. The initial charge was vehicular manslaughter. Very insensitive but I am a RN and will find a place elsewhere.
